Since Reagan we have heard talk of the silent majority. Those that are at least moderatly conservative but don't really say much. The question is how do you motivate them and how do you get them to show up and vote. On and off we have seen them show up in mass as well as persuaded democrat voters like the one that elected Reagan.

How many silent Repeublcans do you think there are in government, in the teaching Jobs ruled by the NEA, in union manufacturing jobs, in the union heavy building trades Teamster truck drivers and even in the halls of college acedema. I have not seen any credible polls of these sub groups but I suspect the are filled with the silent majority. These are the key demographic for fox news.
